An odd safety delimma

I visually check the action and condition every time I pick up a gun. Even a gun I set down in the evening and pick up in the morning. I don't consider it anal, it's just something I was taught as a youngster and have always done it.

I've got 6 Kel Tecs but I think I'll pass on this one. I always thought 22 Mag ammo was too expensive for what it is.

S&W M&P 45C vs Glock 30
I need a little advice... I'm looking to upgrade my carry gun and I'm a big fan of 45ACP. Listening to the ProArms podcast I heard Mas talk about how much he likes the G30. I've been saving my pennies to buy a new Glock 30 and with generation 4 coming out I think I might try for one next year.

making their most popular model (the CBOB) only for sale in one state is a pretty stupid business move.

The way I understand it the P238 is not well-suited to pocket carry since it is a SA that should be carried cocked and locked and you don't want that safety disengaged while you carry. Perhaps some P238 carriers could confirm/deny that.
I personally pocket carry an LCP when I don't or can't dress to conceal the G27. I really enjoy shooting the gun, and it just disappears in the pocket. GL...

I have never fired a VTR but three customers are extremely happy with 700 LTR Light Tactical Rifles and another two with 700 SPS Varmint weight barrel (26 Heavy) all in 308.
Remington rifles are great. Savage makes a few nice ones too. Most important is don't skimp on your optics. Your going to spend lots of hard earned money on a rifle QUALITY optics will give you the most out of that rifle....

The M&P for one has changable backstraps and are being sold for less than a glock just because S&W wants the leo market back. But I did hear some departments were having bad FtF & FTE with the M&P so they switched back to glocks. There was even a barrel that split down the middle.
Im sorry this is the best i can find on the malfunctions http://9x19mm.com/forum3/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=...

My theory is the 9mm is easier for women to handle, who were then being pushed into the service. Another example of how political correctness kills.

I prefer the older model 60 - 2" barrel, stainless steel, wood grips.
Conceals great.
They don't make them any more. Current M60 is different and has an underlug to add weight, and a big rubber grip.

I lived in the England for a number of years in the late 1980s and early 1990s and managed a business operation that included Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland. IMO, the liberals have destroyed Ireland and the UK. The prosecution of Mr. Blackman is just one more example of the serious decay throughout this part of the world.

My personal choice is a stainless Ruger MK II Government Target model. I do not like the "enhancements" built into the MK III. FWIW, quality ammo is highly important for increasing the reliability of a .22.

No, not going away. But the costs of a Double/Single system like the Sig is more per unit than an M&P or Glock (see the other post). Cost is the bigger driver, not the system. Add weight of a gun to the package too.
