No, I tend to carry and keep based on a realistic consideration of the cost versus benefit of the act. That does away with silliness like "better to have and not need than need and not have." Otherwise one can easily end up towing a trailer with 200 spare tires behind them when they travel,or walking around with a fire extinguisher strapped to their back everywhere they go. After all, "better to have and not need" and such,...

IN THE SPIRIT OF LAST WORDS, for all of you who are still thinking, about this issue (in case, it COULD become important) please note that there is a fair amount of common sense to be gained from some of the posts here, and a fair amount of "stuff" which may not serve you well in the long run. Sorting out what is useful to you is not all that hard, if you keep your brain working. ... because there seems to be no question that for all...

Yep they show 200+ bad apples out of 4 Million CCW permit holds that don't break the law!! That shows the same 1-2% off CCW that break the law- the cases sited there are very questionable at best! This is vs the 10-25 % murder rate in most big cities? I don't know about you but I'll take that 1-2% crime rate any day!

Howdy,
The Glock Sport holster is the best holster for OWB carry for a Glock.
I've had one since back in the 90's and it is the only OWB holster that I use.

I have a Sidearmor on which the belt bracket may be mounted either horizontal or vertical. You can check with them and see if it is still made.

Aside from that, I use Blade-Tech magazine carriers available at www.blade-tech.com

The G21 holster would be to large. I have a Serpa for my G34.....it will carry any standard frame Glock. I use a Bianchi for IDPA, Mike.

Exactly why I avoid the lasermax setup... I like the CT LG-436 for my Glock 26. It comes on when I grip and there is no need to activate like the lasermax. I had FIST make a holster for it.

Good choice. I have the exact same setup and it is more comfortable than I expected. I only use it IWB.

I think it depends on the piece you're carrying. For example, I tend to carry fewer spare rounds for my 642, and more for my Glock 21

Depends on the state I think. I think it is attached to your DL everywhere and in that case dispatch would let the officer know. Lots of places do it on the computer in the car and don't need to call dispatch. Also, they don't always run your tag before they stop you.

If you are carrying an unloaded firearm, why even put an empty magazine in the gun? I would just not put a magazine in the gun, so in case I have to put one that has ammo, I won't waste more time releasing the empty magazine. Unless they're not allowed to carry ammo as well...
