I've reduced the amount of "snacks" that I will purchase for the kids each trip.. Also am now only taking very specific meals and drinks.. figure on a typical 2 day weekend trip the kids and I can limit ourselves to 2 soda's per day = 1- 6 pack (used to take 1-2 12 packs per trip. And again usually 3 gatorades per person instead of taking the whole case. I bought the 4 pack 1/2 Gallon ...

I usually lead the rides, so mine don't get dusty! If they do, I wipe them with my shirt. Lenses aren't that expensive to replace every now and then.
