Security for Offline Computers

Your online PC seems to be protected well enough. Avira and Comodo Firewall are top products... and so is SuperAntiSpyware. Seems like most of your infections comes from the external files that you get. It would be wise to take some time to scan before opening or using them. I would also suggest MalwareBytes Antimalware as another on-demand scanner besides SAS. And yes, do turn on the realtime protection of Avira on the offline PC .

Yeah, it's older, so I'd have to change the XML feeds (luckily you can do this...

I installed it in Firefox a while back just to try it out of curiosity. Personally I found it a bit laggy running on my system, and once the novelty wore off I found I just stopped using it.

Currently Gizmo does have a Firefox add-on section ( http://www.techsupportalert.com/best...ox-add-ons.htm ), but it's still under contruction. Personally, I find it as unneccessary eye candy as well. Still gonna use Firefox because of how easily customizable it is (not just add-ons, but bookmarklets, userscripts, userstyles, about :config, etc).

That looks very interesting. Its like Ninite that came out sometime before... but is different from Ninite that you can choose what to install. Interesting indeed. Seems a better option than Ninite.
