You can also get individual K&N or comparable filters that will attach to each carb body. You don't have to go with the twin filters. I have a set of individual filters with chrome end caps but they are a bitch to get on to the adapters on the carbs. I might attempt putting them on when the weather is warm and they are more pliable.

Air Bubbles In My Fuel Lines!!!...
Published (2010-01-05 23:22:00)
If you've got an uphill run on the fuel lines, the air can't escape into the tank. Even a slight uphill run will trap air and the fuel will run underneath it. One fo the hardest things I had to get right was to keep the fuel lines running downhill from petcock to inlet.

What makes you think you've got air bubbles in your fuel lines? Put the petcock in PRIME (with the bike off) and let gravity fill your float bowls for a couple of minutes. Put petcock to ON (this position, along with RES, requires engine vacuum whereas PRIME does not), start bike.

'Busa ('99-'07) and TL1000R both fit. I'm in the middle of swapping out my 1100w s/arm w/ a 'Busa one, exact same dimensions at the pivot axle. But you'll need to use everything else out back from a 'Busa and an offset mainstaft (front) sprocket to space the chain correctly.

Good luck removing those clips and not destroying them. They are made of very brittle plastic and are pretty much impossible to remove without breaking. Take them off and after you get new wires use some sort of glue/sealant to keep the new wires in the coil holes.

get bicycle hangers that screw into a 2x4. put them in a stud, and use ratcheting straps to hold the front of the bike up.
