Re: ICON vs Shoei Hmmmm, I didnt wear it long enough for it to give me a headache, but even when I tried to take it off, it was very hard to get off and hurt to yank it off. I fit a medium ICON just fine, this just seems excessively tight. I am debating to wear it around the house for a few hours or just send it back for a large...

Re: ICON vs Shoei Try wearing it for a good 30 minutes. That is all you need really to see if it is too tight, or just tighter than you are used to.

I'd think you would be fine returning it as long as you have all the tags.

I personally wouldnt suggest putting leathers in a washing machine. Soaking the suit in solution too long and you can weaken the stitching.
This is what I do, I take a garden hoes and spray the inside of the suit when it needs it. I treat the outside with leather conditioner.
Too much cleaning can also wear out the stitch work.
