Yes a +4 would be good for most, so long as your running the correct fuel. Many of our local tuners wouldnt make PC changes cause they where reported to have problems on the timing map not being correct. I think it was more a personal thing from one tuner to the next. John

I have had a look and he doesnt have any advertised. I think if you mailed him (Dan) and ask him if he has any more or if he can sorce you a generator cover. No harm in asking.

Its a real pain in the ass to keep the polish look up. Its twice as bad because I live in humid Florida and its driven alot, even though its stored inside. You can find polished bottles for cheap on ebay search for 2" x 10" stainless as your key words. I think they are around $30 for a nice one.

My harness connectors were melted when I purchased my bike. One thing to keep in mind here is that the stock bulbs "draw" 50-55 watts from the electrical system and have the potential to get hot and melt plugs. You try to add bulbs that draw 90-100 watts on "stock" wiring and you are overloading the system. Similar to upgrading an amplifier without upgrading the wires. You can buy a relay and...

Insure you have the right pads. Confirm that portion of the pad is actually contacting the rotor. The region you have highlighted seems a candidate for hanging off the inside of the rotor. re-bleed the system Ticking is usually worn front floating rotors (the buttons wear).

I had that identical situation. In my instance it was the yellow wiring harness connector located on the left side of the bike while sitting on it. I pulled it apart cleaned out the dirt and corrosion carefully with contact cleaner then packed it full of di-electric grease. That fixed it and I hope this helps.

My understanding (and others will correct me) is that you'll get a boost from the ignition advance, but that the PC will do a better job at overall tuning and keeping idle & ridability. gixxers, if tuned for track only, can be kind of jerky at slow speeds... the PC can adjust timing at specific RPM ranges. If it's "buy advance now, PCIII next month" -- Save your $ and skip the advance unit....
