A lot depends on your riding style and the roads you ride on. I have had 600s, 750s and 1000s. Thous are great for grunt and the open road. But if the twisties are your thing then a 600 may be a better choice. There are times when a 1000 requiring sensitive throttle control can be a hindrance for the less experienced pilot and they will actually be quicker on a 600 that they can be more ham-fisted with.
