I thought the one before it was funnier to be honest. I'm still trying to
figure out why it's as dragged out as it it to be honest (the comic would
have been better off ending about 200 strips ago, which it could have done
without the long-winded tangents).

Nah, it's not the first time she assumed the worst, reacted with anger, and made a fool of herself. You could say she's a zealous feminist, maybe daddy issues at work? Alright, sure, this outburst was more violent than the previous , but the target has less authority and she was directly affected by the perceived slight, so it's justified.
