Is it just me, or does difficulty ramp up a bit with the Landsmeet? I wiped for the first time in quite a long time, not counting the fight that you can lose.

Tacitcs? In games? At age 7 or 10? Yeah, not me. I was still playing NES and Sega Genesis games then, mostly platformers like Sonic the Hedgehog, Mario, or Mega Man. "Tactics" didn't really enter the equation for me back then. There was no such thing as FPS or RTS games then as far as I knew (I guess there were probably early examples of the genres on computers at the time, but I didn't start playing computer games...

Managed to reach the cathedral fairly quickly. Take out any mutants here, and the job for the brotherhood is finished. Which means, other than delivering the water chip I picked up, I'd be out of work. Hope that doesn't happen, yes? Ian and the scouts from the Followers of the apocolypse were heading in with me. Didn't like any of them, which means their inevitable deaths will be a nice bonus, more than an inconvenience. Seemed...

So, with 2 siege races, I get sieged twice as often. Goblin siege. Got my guys inside, no problems. Funny story, I built a really nice indoor tree chopping area aboveground. Lined it with cage traps. I mean like easily a square of 25 by 25. Two entire squads got sucked up by the traps when they started to go along the wall. Breaks the siege because an entire squad was eliminated. Mindflayers come right after. Run into the Humans. Humans kill...

When I was younger? I'd get the biggest, most awesome guns that did the most damage, I'd always use the most powerful spells and stuff in RPGs, and I'd always take the glass cannons in RTSs.
Now? I use the guns I hit the most often with, I use the stuff that hits the most usually in RPGs, and I use more defensive options in RTSs.
I'm still a sucker for the strong stuff, though.

Alright, against my better judgment, I've acquired Dragon Age.
Not hugely impressed, so far, but then I'm only 45 minutes in or so. Very linear, not very moral-grey-area. Story alternates between interesting and slightly stupid.
I'll let you know as the situation develops.

Blanks essentially shut down everything psy-something, I'd say the Wraithguards are shut down, but as soon as the blank goes away, it fires up again. Soulstones can likely not be destroyed by a blank holding it, but they sure can't do anything else.
