i hunted there last year near the res pond back by the soccer fields and i saw deer everytime. Got a club this year so i dont hunt it anymore! Saw a big six but didnt get a clear shot. the only thing i dont like is if you shoot one you have to drag it a half mile to get it to a road.but good hunting!

If I have a battery-powered light on my bow like the one on my Optix XR, would that eliminate me from P&Y qualification? What if I did not use the light for my kill, or took the light off altogether. I have a good chance for a great buck soon, and I want the buck to be eligible for scoring. I have pictures of record book deer. What should I do? athenstiger

Ok so the skeeters are making me nuts and I bought a Thermacell. Do you all use one in the stand or is it a dead giveaway?

Lately when I have been shooting I can not hold my pin on the circle I am aiming at on my block target. If I take my finger off the release and place it behind the trigger I can hold it on the circle I am aiming for. What...in...the...world??? Have any of you ever had this problem? It has been bothering the heck out of me. I can shoot decent groups, but I cant aim correctly. What am I doing ...

This is her second season bow hunting and she got her first deer saturday evening. She shot a doe last year with her bow but we never found her. She shot this doe on a hard quartering away shot and put the arrow right up there in the lungs, that is why it looks so far back, but she didnt go but about 100yds. She was using a DXT at 50 pounds with a 2 blade rage. I am very proud of her and she is ...

This morning is a day I wont forget. I was on my way to hunt in Dekalb , When I thought heck instead sense it's on my way I'll just hunt a piece of property near the horse park in conyers. Well opening weekend I had an encounter with a great 8 pointer but couldn't seal the deal. So this morning I went to the same stand , I got to the stand at 6:50 and got set up at 6:55 . So I decided to hit ...

My son killed this 215 lb 8point on our lease Saturday afternoon. Perfect hit, ran forty yards and piled up. We got him on our trail camera a couple weeks back. We also got some pics of better bucks that we are going to try to drop before the end of the season. Pictures of some of the better bucks that we are after are posted in the trailcam forum. BEFORE AFTER...

WTG Chad!! Glad we found that second nanny tonight...She was as big as any doe Ive seen in years around here... That hammerhead cut a massive hole in her too...I just think those guts had the hole plugged up and thats why the blood trail was weak at times....Congrats my friend!! That a way to put 100 more points on the board!!

Im in Columbia County (Harlem) also and I hunt mostly out by the lake or on post, but I found some rubs and scrapes before the season even opened. Been pp'n in every one I find and a few of them are really getting torn up now. Still havent seen any bucks, but I had one grunt at me a couple times last Sat. when I blew a MAD heat bleat call. Cant wait for the first couple weeks of Nov. Chevy, I...
