Jeff, Keep us in the loop this coming week. I will be hoping you catch up with the trail cam buck from this summer. I will have to live thru you guys post for a couple more weeks at least. Hope you bust one. If it turns on give me a call and I will get some guys down on the farm ASAP. We have a couple of bucks from the cams I would like to see ground checked.

Hunted most of the day today. Saw two does from the stand. Still hunted 4 hours after morning hunt and walked up 5 deer. All were bedded down and I could have killed them all. Probably jumped some I never saw. I do believe the season was wierd this year, but I can see where the deer have changed their pattern from the last 15 years on our property. I see a good year coming next year and my plan to kill big boy is in the makeing come Jan. 2,...

I killed a 8 pointer with 16 1/2 inch spread Thursday 10 22 09. He was starting to show some rutting, neck swole alittle bit and his tarsals getting alittle stinky. At 6:20 I hit the grunt 4 times and a few minutes later he eased out of the thicket into the pine lane. When I saw horns outside of ears I shot. Seeing a few scrapes and rubs, I think that next weekend (30 & 31st) will be when ...

get together some how. I live in Lawrenceville also, and I got deer in some woods behind my house, behind a high school. It's mostly swamp back there, and every time I go back there I jump deer all of time. This swampy area is sets in between subdivisions and a High School (Collins Hill). I want to practice my bow hunting skills back there. Let me know if you all want to get together any time

When is bobcat season? I've always been told it was illegal to harvest a bobcat other than trapping.

I'm 26. Considering the age of the general hunting population, you can probably call me young. Pretty sad and disturbing. Tommy
