Must be very frustrating for you. See how it goes with the Enbrel. My son was diagnosed at 11. He was extremely athletic- soccer, basketball, surfing, biking. He had been having a lot of pain and was to the point that he was asking to be taken out of games. Once diagnosed he was put on NSAIDS, then methotrexate. He started Enbrel 2 years ago and improvement was huge! He is now 14 and playing club soccer, high school soccer and even ran cross...

Have you tried something like an elliptical to start with? It's a matter of finding one with the right stride length. Easier on the knees etc.

Hi, Judy!! I love animals!! I have kitties and grew up with cats and dogs, and, at 16, friends gave me a horse that they kept for me. Why not go riding once and see how it feels for you?? I say do not give up on it!!

Hello, Well, I can definitely relate. I had 13 marathons under my belt before my A.S. came to stay. I know how they are addictive, and still feel their lure. But I have not run one since November, 2007. Will I run one again? Perhaps, but not right now. I still run shorter distances, but hard training is on hold, probably forever.
