You can use a recovery software like GetDataBackNTFS (my favorite) but the will require you to copy recovered data to a different drive I don't know of any good software which will recover data to the same drive.

Manage Network Connections: Advanced > Advanced Settings. Move the iphone connection above the wifi connection in the list. (This controls the preference order for identical default routes: both the wifi and iphone are valid Internet gateway routes (even if Comcast isn't up).
