and what about when subaru released the new WRX? they released it with the same motor as the previous model. people felt a little left out im sure, but if they want the new one so much itll leave them inclined to make the trade for a new one, generating sales. the same for the mustang. first new model was with the old V6 and V8 motors and the next year they are revamping the lineup with next gen motors... people 'feelings' are...

First Oil Change? - Page 5 -...
Published (2009-11-27 04:06:00)
When I bought my Chevy Cobalt in '07, I changed my oil at around 1k-1.5k and it was actually recommended by the dealer. But now I remembered hearing that nowadays you don't need to change oil that early like before, unless if you're one of those precaution types. I'm thinking of getting mine changed at around 2k-2.5k for first change. After that it's going to be at 5kml before I change regularly. Oh and of course...

Its cool. We will be starting a build Journal to show the work that is going into our Genesis. Its not gonna be simply slapping on a turbo, suspension, BBK and calling it a day. We are going to build this right. From Cams, pulleys, rebuilding the head, Cage, Reinforcement, cooling system, and ECU. We also want to provide the community that parts that are going to be on this project as well. Instead of building a genesis that doesn't have...

So to summarize, you're incorrect on just about all of it. Nice try though.
It's OBD2 or OBDII not OBD11.
Scan gauges can be useful for anyone, tuned, not tune, etc... Most scan gauges can show instant MPG, exhaust/cat temps, 0-60 times, 02 volts, clear stored codes, show coolant, intake and ambient temp, a whole bunch more that can be useful to anyone.
The only value clamped...

this i doubt...
don't think they will toss an easily modifiable turbo platform for a normal sedan motor...
maybe if they use this motor as a base to turbocharge later when they add direct injection to the 3.8... i can see that happening

I don't own a Gen Coupe yet, but running premium in a turbocharged vehicle will yield more power. It isn't going to be substantial in stock form, but is likely necessary as you begin to install power adders.
As for the 3.8 goes, again, the gains are marginal.
Anyway, it is up to you to throw 87 or 93 into your car. Go 87 if you want to save money and don't race from light to light, ...

Well, it depends on how obsessed you are.
Dealer recommendations in Canada is every 6000Km(1mile=1.61km).
But for me, I will first change it at 1000km (break in period) then use a synthetic/dino blend for 2000km then switch to full synthetic. Seriously though, you don't have to do that. To maintain warranty just bring it every 4000-5000miles to the dealers.

i had a weird issue like that, only it started, but my traction was off and some other display things weren't reading properly. I turned the car off and back on and it was still doing it. So I plugged in the keyfob and it seemed to start ok. The battery might be going dead or something in the keyfob.
