for the 2.0t you need basic bolt ons (intake, exhaust), then turbo upgrade and reflash. Probally wouldn't hurt to upgrade the fmic too. Here is a link to atp's Dyno and list of mods http://www.atpturbo.com/root/release...T_VS_STOCK.gif Quote: Anyone know what I would have to do to get 300 or higher whp on a 2.0 or a 3.8? That's all I'd ever need.

Actually, there is probably a handful of companies with True dual exhausts now to compare to. They all have pre-production pictures, info, and prices... so far. I won't mention any names, as you could search for dual exhuast quite easily.

Torque is not at 2.0's advantage... it's all about area under the curve... peak number is for paper racer.

3.8 A/T ECU reflash was successful....however I won't have any results posted until next week. We'll be testing the manual tranny next week as well with MODE's car.

In his avatar it looks like he's driving a GT(usa) with no LSD? So if thats the case the track with the same mods should be quicker than his right?

Moved to engine (would put it in either 2.0 or 3.8, but I don't know which it applies to, I would assume 2.0, but we all know what ASSumption makes )

Note: Posted this last night, but the Mods saw fit to delete it for some
reason; this topic started in the backpressure myth thread, but I have
moved it out for more visibility and because it wasn't really on that topic

Well, it depends on how obsessed you are.
Dealer recommendations in Canada is every 6000Km(1mile=1.61km).
But for me, I will first change it at 1000km (break in period) then use a synthetic/dino blend for 2000km then switch to full synthetic. Seriously though, you don't have to do that. To maintain warranty just bring it every 4000-5000miles to the dealers.
