I didn't have any problems using a crescent wrench to remove and reinstall. I think it's operator headspace and timing.

SUB-GEN, in driving my coupe around town in auto mode, I have noticed that if I switch to manual mode, the car is frequently in 5th gear. To your question, driving in manual mode and staying on the power curve, I have found substantial gains in the 3k to 5k rpm range.

I have been using 93 and 91 minimum, car does ride smoother, more response and better gas mileage.

Give a good break in period, I would go at least 5000 miles. Amsoil is probably one of the best, but slicker than snot, so engine needs to get all the parts seated and worn in before you use it. My opinion, you will probably get others.

To install the K&N you'll just unclip the top of the intake box, remove and replace. Be sure to check into removing the charcoal filter in the box as well. Predator showed a good gain by removing it.

I have ARK's headers on my car right now. I would recommend not changing out the headers until you change out the stock exhaust. It doesn't sound good at all. The stock exhaust can't handle the increased air flow. It gets terribly raspy when you accelerate. I cant wait till ARK gets the exhausts in and ships me mine
