looks like it ran ok. though looks like it ran twice. could you post the log of of the first run, if it exists. you will find it in the folder c:\qoobox\ the file will be called ComboFix 2 where the 2 may be another number, but it will be the earliest file in this folder. let me know if it is not there andrewuk

Hello The Dude Abides and welcome to the forums here at G2G. Have you tried continuing with the rest of the cleaning guide? Seeing if you can run Root Repeal and OTL? I would suggest you try running those 2 tools also and post the logs. If they won't run then let us know.

Well I have seen complaints about this one. Perhaps the best approach would be for us to have a look at the computer. You may have used Malwarebytes before. Just an additional post... I was able to download and run TFC, SysReportPoint and Erunt, but Malwarebytes was a no go. It would not let me even rename MBam.exe. It said file was in use. Thanks - Mike
