____ Aditu, I have one very old unit that is no longer supported, meaning I can not load in the newest Sat info. If I give it the coods. where it is and the correct time it is good until it is turned off, upon turn on it can not relocate itself. ____ I am wondering about some of these newer smart phones and their mapping Apps. but I think when I would take it into The Huron National Forest it would lose track of where it is. NO CELL SERVICE...

For comparison, the VW Polo Bluemotion (one of the cars on my shortlist to replace the ageing druidmobile) sips a mere 3.3 litres/100km (71 mpg for merkins, 86 mpg for brits). The Ford Fiesta Econetic (also on the shortlist) comes in at 3.8 litres/100km.
