____ ASH, Most appliances made in America have generic motors. Winding motors and the machinery to wind the motors are very specialized, so very few companies will buy their own winders. Sorry, can't answer your question, but I was starting to think about upgrading my current iMac (5 years old or almost) to get a little more graphical power. But each time, the answer is: not before I go to Austria! (Late spring, early summer, most likely, if I can hold to my budget.) So although it is not short term, I am quite interested in any comments or suggestions about the newest models....
