. ____ Ah, Gentlemen let me take you back to 1964 and SCCA (Sports Car Club of America) and road rallies. Any good winning team Navigator would have at least two stop watches, and a "Curta". Now, I don't know if this works as a real difference engine, but did anyone who followed TFD's link see the Meccano version ? -------------------- ...and yet, across the gulf of space, minds immeasurably superior to ours regarded this earth with envious eyes...

Sorry, can't answer your question, but I was starting to think about upgrading my current iMac (5 years old or almost) to get a little more graphical power. But each time, the answer is: not before I go to Austria! (Late spring, early summer, most likely, if I can hold to my budget.) So although it is not short term, I am quite interested in any comments or suggestions about the newest models....
