What We Know

I don't think we really know even that much. We know the titles. We know scripts are written. We know that even the producers and writers don't know when they'll be made.

The Wraith - they're essentially as frakked as the goa'uld were at the end of S8. They're still around, but they're in such a state of disarray because of Michael, who essentially replaced them as being the REAL threat that they're just... well... a bit of a pain. But it seems that the...

The novels definitely aren't canon, they're approved by MGM true, but then so was Infinity, and the comics, and any other Stargate media out there bar fan fic. So far the only storylines that seem to be canon outside the series are the original movie (to a degree) and the SGW storyline (which might never even see the light of day).

Well, I'm asuming (and honestly, hoping) that future movies will each be stand-alones.
I don't really want the Trust, because if we're going to have a movie (and I'm really hoping they continue), then it better involve the Stargate and be at least partly/mostly off-world. We don't really need Earth-based stories. And no crossovers with Atlantis. This is SG-1 we're dealing with (although, I...

Hopefully this movie will see the extinction of the Mckeller storyline. That is one plot point that I never want to see revisited.
What I want to see are the evil asgard.... they were a very underused plot point.

I disagree. Very much.
I don't enjoy the kind of storytelling SGU has, and I know I'm not the only one who misses the SG-1 and SGA style.
If you think SGU is better, why don't you go celebrate its success and everything that makes it, in your opinion, so much better than SG-1/SGA? Please let us who are still faithful and appreciative of the classic Stargate keep our hopes for movies...

Yeah, its not going to happen.
It really should. The Hive was most definitely not a proper send off.
