Quote: you obviously misinterpreted my comment... I LOVE Vala, if she isn't there it stinks! I want her in the movie and a good reason if she isn't. I did, absolutely. My most sincere apologies. That's what happens when I try and do to many things at the same time. I read incorrectly, and as a consequence, my response was out of line. Again, my apologies.

Well, my point was to point out credit where credit's due. I probably should've been a bit more positive in my wording though You liked most of his episodes, and even me who didn't care much for SGA still liked about 1/3 of his episodes

Yeah, its not going to happen.
It really should. The Hive was most definitely not a proper send off.

Well, I'm asuming (and honestly, hoping) that future movies will each be stand-alones.
I don't really want the Trust, because if we're going to have a movie (and I'm really hoping they continue), then it better involve the Stargate and be at least partly/mostly off-world. We don't really need Earth-based stories. And no crossovers with Atlantis. This is SG-1 we're dealing with (although, I...

I disagree. Very much.
I don't enjoy the kind of storytelling SGU has, and I know I'm not the only one who misses the SG-1 and SGA style.
If you think SGU is better, why don't you go celebrate its success and everything that makes it, in your opinion, so much better than SG-1/SGA? Please let us who are still faithful and appreciative of the classic Stargate keep our hopes for movies...

Hopefully this movie will see the extinction of the Mckeller storyline. That is one plot point that I never want to see revisited.
What I want to see are the evil asgard.... they were a very underused plot point.

1. Too expensive, and not a large enough of an audience. A TV movie or mini series would make more economic sense.
I like the idea of seeing the sequels. I haven't gotten around to reading the books yet, but it would be interesting to see the direction they would have taken the story.
2. No, no, dear god no. Too many inconsistencies, it would be really cheezy and forced to bring them together...
