Yeah, I agree. I love it when a game makes me figure out some things by myself. If the relics in Brütal Legend were also a mystery at first, then I probably would have spent more time trying my luck with the dragons. Right now as most other things were explained and I tried aboud 10 different moves/solos, I ended up thinking the method to ungag them would unlock after a quest in the main storyline. But I guess no-one explained the legend...

By the time you got the end of GTAIV it was just too easy (you only tended to fail when you didn't get to a the right trigger point in time). Hint: Explosive rounds is the way I did it.

Yeah, I understand what you're talking about. Interactive dialogue is the only interesting idea I've had for a thesis and you're thinking along the same lines I have been. I won't have to think about it for a couple of years though.
I'm playing my little brothers copy and have liked it a lot so far. The combat is not up to action game standards, but it's more fun than the usual RPG fare. I...

Speculation is that by making it matchmaking/p2p they have more control over the content of the game, since there won't be dedicated modded servers. And more control means it will be feasible to "force" players into buying DLC instead of running custom stuff like maps or whatnot.
I don't see this as cutting costs AT ALL, it's just another measure to nickle and dime the PC customer base. It ...
