What are the best pokemon to raise the Pokemon Emerald version?

I am currently beating Winona. I have a breloom swellow marshtomp Gardevoir trapinch and beautifly, and I do not think it is a very good team. Can anyone give me an idea of some good Pokémon to raise?

Today I found a ditto and wanted to clone a pokemon different use. but I'm afraid the use of the worst pokemon thats super common. any suggestions? or, and I want to make eggs so you can trade it too.

I would recommend Diamond or Pearl. It can be a bit tricky, but my sister (who is very good with him.
