I hope Datel wins. it is quite ridiculous that there is a lockdown on the memory units for the XBox systems. and the pricing is gawd aweful as well. PS3 has a wide array of memory units available, but i can't be ripped away from my 360 :(

I don't use memory cards, but I hope to god they fucking win. That was an incredibly dick move by Microsoft.

And I hear the gamerscore hackers/pirates have already hacked it to use USB memory card readers so essentially the ban was pointless and you just leave a lot of legit customers out in the cold. They are taking the DRM approach it seems.

Somehow I knew Lord Kayne would be the first to post about this. I think MS did this for two reasons. The storage capacity is obvious the first. But the other reason is because of cheating and modding. Doesn't the Datel accessories allow modding or a way to modding saves?
