"Unstapled"? Really?

Read the PR. Thanks but no thanks. And sad thing is it's still better than the other show debuting the same night - the Carnie Wilson reality garbage. Is there just something in the water fountains at GSN that causes the network as a whole to make absurdly stupid decisions on a 4-6 year cycle?

'02 into '03 was great. Good originals, and Great classics. Late '07 into '08 was great as well. We had the return of some rare G-T shows, that great Viewer's Choice Marathon, and then the return of Tic Tac Dough and Wheel of Fortune to the schedule. The originals weren't as good, though. Anyone remember that mess "How Much is Enough"? But the classics made up for that department....

Is this true? First I've heard of it, and I'd really like to know so I can reset my TiVo.

Today is the first day of this change. One other change is that at 10:00pm, 1 vs. 100 will be airing now instead of Millionaire and Lingo .

Unfortunately, I just found out about this when it happened in my area (Sept. 3), not in advance. I called RCN to ask what was going on, and the rep said that GSN did not meet their "standards." "What do you mean? What standards?" I asked. He said that RCN had gotten a lot of complaints about GSN. I find this hard to believe. I'm trying to envision a bunch of angry cranks calling in and ...

I first got this channel in 1997, and stood by with them until this year, when the channel soon started taking away many of the G-T shows that I enjoyed watching. The fact that they're actually serious about an upcoming Reality show, when an idea like this had already failed for the network, didn't help either. Once this current lease for $25K Pyramid is over, I'm through watching this ...

I wonder if Bob will be hosting just part of the show (with Carnie hosting the rest), or the entire episode. Either way, that should be interesting.
