Squalor question. And children...
Published (2009-12-15 19:16:00)
Very simple. Squalor just goes up in my cities. Is there any way to stop it, before the plague begins? I can't get children with my family member, they are married but they do not make children! There is any way to adopt, or is it by luck? If yes, how do I do it? Thank you in advance, and sorry for the english.

Upgrade your town size to reduce squalor. Without cheating, marry your princesses to foreign generals and adopt all candidates. Cheating, add a trait & 2 ancillaries to each general add_trait this HaleAndHearty 3 add_ancillary this doctor add_ancillary this apothecary -- Forewarned is forearmed.

Help with modding and cheats

Thanks for the advice, but I have already tried that and the stupid thing still won't let me save the file. This time it says that I don't have permission to access the file, and to use it it says that I have to contact the administrator for permission. But I am already logged on as the admin account. I'll put it on a USB and see if my other computer (which has xp) can do it.

Yeah. I wasnt very fond of the future heir of my welsh faction so i sent hime on a "mission" to eat sh** and die. Needless to say he won about 3 battles in a row and he was soon a 5-star general with some pretty decent stats. So i change my mind and decide to move him to my second grandest city and govern it. Well, on the way there i run into a rebellion of about 800 and i have a baker's dozen ...

I started playing yesterday, and it is every bit as fun as I expected. But I have a few questions. 1)What is the best way to manage money? I keep finding myself getting bankrupt at about turn 50. The Mongols should appear every game, if you play long enough. They may or may not become a viable power. I've found it varies with each campaign, depending on difficulty and faction. Personally, I've never seen them become much of a threat. They may take a few settlements, or be wiped out or nearly wiped out and wander about with a few soldiers left until all of their family members die. ...
