A little bit. I didn't invest in it, since I hadn't thought such fierce beasts existed...Thank god there's no Rad-Tarantulas and Giant Rad-Tarantulas...And me with my arcanophobia...

DLC vs GOTY Edition questions
Published (2009-11-26 16:04:00)
#2, yes, you'll get a message abuout content not being there, and it'll load with out them. Glitches may happen, or might freeze after loading if it doesnt load it right. If you happen to get dlc back, items will not be there. You'll need to redo quests and such to get them.. (again glitches can happen, thou that was oblvion....but knowing Beths past...ha ha...ya..)

Swift Learner or Intense Training
Published (2009-11-27 12:17:00)
Either one works. . .and neither is useful once you're level 30. There's no wrong one there. If you're getting Intense Training for CHR, AGI, or END though. . .maybe even STR, then there's probabaly no point in getting IT. IT is okay if you're getting an extra PER or LUK though. I took Swift Learner last time, just to mix things up. Either one's fine though.

Question About The DLC
Published (2009-11-26 18:50:00)
No reason to buy the regular edition anymore. You won't save any money if you plan to get the DLC. You will LOSE money. Plus you don't have to get s tupid PSN card if you don't have a credit card.

I'm glad there is no option to play your own music. It's supposed to be about total immersion. If you wanted to play your own music, you'd play it...outside of the game. Plus, no in-game music means it won't give your position away.

i just like to change up the ambience of the game every now and again. another good album to try with fallout is pink floyd`s dark side of the moon. if you get bored with the music of the game, its just something to try out.

lol, i got over 4k ammo for the gauss rifel (can only get with project ancorage) and that gun is deadly as hell, so any other (aside from unique) weapons is just convertable money in my eyes..

The End...? (Spoilers)
Published (2009-11-26 17:21:00)
@ jstar. that not entirely right. first off, if you send sarah in, she dies. secondly, the ending is based on your actions throughout the wasteland. example: if you end quests in the evil way, it will come up as the evil ending.

Well, the nice thing about the speech check/challenges is that you can keep retrying them by saving right before you trigger them so charisma isn't so important. It just might take a few more tries then if you have more charisma. I do recommend having a fairly high strength due to the fact that you will be finding a lot of useful equipment throughout the game. Its nice to have the extra ...

I assume they hear your assault rifle or combat shotgun blowing their body apart...I mean, technically if you smashed their face in with the Super Sledge, or decapitated them with a switchblade, or even shot them in the back with a silenced 10mm pistol, then no one would know for days but...

i think there should be a perk that allows you to do double or triple damage with melee weapons like swords and hammers. it could be called grognak or something like that. also there could be one called smokers high where cigarettes will become an aid item that raises damage resistance and intelligence

On Character creation, don't put any S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stat higher then nine. You will find ways to boost them in the game. Certain stats more then others. For skill choices, I highly recomend tagging small guns - which consist of almost all conventional weapons - repair - which lets you repair said weapons - and either medicine, barter, speech, or explosives. Pick which ever one you like best.

Heyyy maaan, don't hate the raider, hate the game! Naw, they do sort of suck and I wish they would have progressed or just gotten tougher like some enemies did. I kind of look at them as the clowns of the Wastes. After watching a random encounter where they stole some Enclave's clothing and had them running around in their chonies, I gotta respect that little bit of comic relief! All that was ...

those questions aren't in depth at all firstly, if you want the level 8, 14, 20 and 30 trophies all in one playthrough, you have to save at level 7, 13, 19 and 29, get to the right karma level, and then level up, get trophy and reload. it sounds like you think you can get a perk at level 29-30 and then somehow get all the pervious trophies as well. you can't. you can get to neutral by ...
