Is this one of the best games...

One of the greatest games I've ever played. Maybe it's not perfect technically (even though I never had a single crash (DLC or not) and even if I saw any bugs, they were unnoticeable), but the game is just sucks you in, an it doesn't let go. It's just so much fun. Can really explain it, but that's what makes a great game for me - if you just don't want to stop playing it.

Have you tried any console commands, eg target the deathclaw and 'kill'? If all else fails, you could set Wadsworth to be essential, so even if the beast keeps hitting him, he'll keep getting back up.

"use that site all the time for checking if my pc will run a game or not. Is there something wrong with it, if people keep asking regardless?" Many people are just unaware of the site, the rest are simply idiots. For the former, there needs to be more awareness of that wonderful site on the PC boards. For the latter, free groin kicks, and I've been shining the steel in the toe of my boots for just such an occasion.

At the GnR plaza, I was climbing the rubble to get on the balcony when it broke through. I turned and went back down the rubble to the ground, then started shooting with my hunting rifle, then assault rifle. It destroyed me with one swipe of its weapon.

Near the GNR building, I was still a noob at that time when I found myself in a firefight with mutants and brotherhood, luckily, it can't follow me inside the building ruins near the station and capped it's head with an Assault rifle

The glitch is actually really annoying. I don't know how to initiate it, but it happened to me the first time I went to Falls Church. Hoss just shows up in a random place, but whenever you see him, he's constantly, I assume, running back to Falls Church.

there's a few atmosphere mods to game the overall gameworld (not the text and whatnot tho) alot more depressing. i don't remember the name tho it's on fallout3nexus but as of now the site is in the middle of moving files to some new servers or something so all downloads are impossible for the time being

if you have the DLCs (Expansions) you'll be able to level up to level 30. I'm at 27 (28?) & I've maxed all but 4 skills & they're 80+, when you hit 30 you'll be able to do it all anyway. without the DLC's you'll have to chose a coupla skills to ignore or raise a little Barter isn't the best, because when you first start the game & need it it's to low to do much, & after a while you're rolling in...

1. Casual, I suppose. 2. Good karma. I'm go above stealing or killing innocents here and there, but in mission, I usually make the "good" choice (saving Megaton, not poisoning the purifier with the FEV, etc) 3. I've found that Small Guns really falls off in effectiveness against the super-enemies that come along with Broken Steel. Depending on my character build I either abused the hell out of Paralyzing Palm or took them down with energy weapons or big guns. Hm... No, I'd say no. It's a great game, and atmospherically it's a masterpiece, but I wouldn't rank it too highly - bugs, odd enemy scaling (BS enemies mainly), difficulty sliding away towards the end and packaging too much of the game as DLC so I ended up paying as much as two games for this means it's got too many flaws to be one of the top ever. It's a great game, but it's no Baldur's Gate...
