thats it, its all about timing, positioning etc...you just have to learn how to defend. watch football, play football, play the game, they will all help

Can't you wait till you play the game? Its a bit late now to be asking questions about it. Either that or just go to wiki and type in FIFA 10, normally i wouldn't recommend it as a source, but this time its right.

Actually it's going to be around 36-40 games for every league, so I'd just focus on the gameplay and let the achievements come to you.

I was a mmode junkie from 06-08, but before 09 came out, I played Football Manager. Since then, I have not been able to enjoy manager mode in FIFA simply because of how much it pales in comparison to FM in every conceivable way.

manager mode is just like dynasty in Madden, you control a team for a certain amount of years. You can choose to play or sim each game and having control over things such as ticket price and all the transfers and other facets of team management.

the goalie does tend to come out on his own yeah, a bad thing about the game is its too easy to lob him. what i do is use the selected player to sprint towards goal and X to follow the man with the ball, positioning the selected player somewhere nearby to shepherd them away from goal. gives them nowhere to go, or they have to turn back, slowing them down = defenders back in position. ______...
