I've been hearing and reading this alot lately, at first i thought it was silly until today. Morgan Freeman 71, was involved in a serious car accident today, this follows odd events such as Christian Bale flying off the handle and charged with assault, also the strange events about Heath Ledgers death (such as the whole calling the Olsen ...

I heard from my sister about a thread on another site about the different dissorders the joker from tdk displays and I was just curious and was wondering if you guys had any ideas on what exactly the joker has and what prompts you to say that based on what you saw in the movie. I would of posted this in the entetainment forum but I think I...

I'm halfway through it, just bought it at Comicon 08. Loving each page. Being the first of many Crisis on the DC Universe, it sure is a breakthrough on storytelling. What are your opinions on it, did you like it? What would you have changed? Do you think the Final Crisis will be better? Post away....

If somebody looked at you, and the first thing they would see is a super hero, which one would represent you? I think I'd probably be Captain Marvel, 'cause I'd be the cheesiest do-gooder of the bunch. Try to base it off the personality traits you think you'd have as said hero. Nerdy = Spider-Man etc....

http://www.drhorrible.com Behold!! With Shades of Watchmen dripping from its pores. Whedon has done it again. Dr. Horrible's Singalong Blog felt like the love child of Spiderman and Sweeney Todd. Joss Whedon is a TV god in my book. Billy is the stuff great comicbook characters are made of. I LOVED Dr. Horrible. Did anyone ...

I want to know what is your favorite Nightwing moment? Mines where he and Robin ("Jason Todd" Robin) are going to rescue Alfred and they're on top of this roof and Nightwing looks down and they're making porn, or taking some naughty pictures with these two girls in nurses outfits and he goes "HEL-LO NURSE" and Robin comes ...

DOOM. Shade's my other option, but I dunno. He doesn't do much in the villainy department anymore.

I can't choose between Gotham, where I would want to be a doctor at Arkham, or The Dreaming, from Sandman.

This thread is simple. List your top five most hated heroes or villains and explain why. 1) Spiderman - He has a great set of powers, but seems too whiney and angst ridden. 2) Sabretooth - Reminds me too much of Beastman from the old He-man cartoon. He's furry and is feral. That's pretty much it. 3) Superman - Strong as hell, ...

I just saw the teaser for the movie, and a friend of mine and I have been talking about how big of an insult it is to Alan Moore. He even stated a long while back that Watchmen wasnt made to become a movie. I think the movie people even said they chose to cut out a lot of the dramatic scenes involving Dr. Manhattan. Like when he thinks/...

I'm pushing this to the top for two reasons: the first is that no one seems to read the sticky. The second is...what superhero book do I give to someone(s) completely dismissive and derisive of superheroes as a whole genre. Running the SGMS lecture series this weekend, populated entirely by anime/manga fans and theologians, I was ...

I've been mostly reading manga and the like, but I found some U.S. comics that look pretty cool and have started reading them too. Been a bit stuck on the terminology, though. I know with manga, the creator's called a mangaka. What would the equivalent term be with U.S. comics, specifically for that one main creator?...

Makes me think: Why??? On like every Marvel comic I own, it always seems to manage to get there, like an annoying stain:::::: "Stan Lee presents", "Stan Lee is proud to present" "Stan Lee's" Why the hell is it there!?!?!?! Why, and HOW is he taking credit for like every comic??? Why is his name always put there... I mean, I don't ...

So since i draw "anime" style, and I publish my manga. Would it still be western? I'm asking because Claymore should be called western since it's made by an American.
