I don't care, I'm still free... Maybe you could try incorporating Synesthesia into your project, especially if it's a report. It's when two senses morph into one. The most common form is where people associate letters or numbers with colors. I heard of one guy who tasted certain flavors for each word he ever hears. It's gotta suck. hahaha. I know it sounds like it has nothing to do with your project, but it kind of...

Licorice tastes sleek and like plastic when I eat it. It's chewy, and tastes a bit like medicine, at least to me. Maple syrup is a thick liquid with an all-encompassing earthy sweet taste. It's sticky. It reminds me a bit of goo. But you know, if you're trying to determine a color that associates it well with those two, I'd just go with whatever color it is .

-1-hanako-1- this is an okay website used to use how to draw manga - - Manga Univrsity How to Draw: Tutorials Stay as far away from this web site and any "how to draw manga" books and tutorials as you possibly can. You need to learn to draw real people before you stylize. Download these books and do the exercises . You can draw anime later.

SHMILYpuppy Downloading books will not help, go to deviantart then look up 'how to draw anime' etc. I hope to God that you're being satirical. Sometimes it's hard to tell.

People just because I create heated debated does not make me a troll. I just know how to feed off you. lets face it this topic has like 38 odd posts my other one had 90. If you ask me I am doing pretty okay for myself just because you strongly disagree with me does not mean I am trolling either.

Tablets are nice, but not necessary. They help to do linearts and coloring on the computer greatly however. So if you're serious about digital art I'd think about getting one.

Guys... it's not art. It's not even design, if you're just following a set of instructions. Design refers to creating with reference to a client's needs. I design buildings, rooms, and I draw all the time for it - from concept sketches, beautifully rendered perspectives, building models from scratch... and I never considered them art. It's just plain designing. It's not artistry. The same way that creating posters...

I agree, lineart is the most annoying thing about art. D: You go over the thing perfectly on [insert art-thingy here] then BAM! The lineart screws. Too time-consuming (for me since my sketches are really really messy)... *whines and complains a bit X_X*

Make her pay more. You were commissioned for the avi she had at the time . That was understood, yes?
So if she changed her avi, she needs to pay for a new picture. If she wanted you to draw a specific outfit, she should have sent you a tektek or such of the avi she wanted.

I started off drawing anime, but later got into drawing realistically and "drawing from life." I seriously wished I learned that technique earlier as a child, because it has seriously impaired my artistic skills and made me learn at a much slower pace. I had to really kick myself in the a** to get to where I am, considering I only learned "drawing from life" in my Junior year of high school.

I think it would be interesting to ask why, too. Like, why do you like Van Gogh?
Anyway my favorite artist is Egon Schiele, because I enjoy how he speaks through his work and his style is just absolutely amazing.

Telling someone their work is s**t is not a critique. It is an insult, and is not at all helpful.
If you say you are an artist and think it is acceptable to do this to other people, your art must be s**t too.
