I am keeping the Viffer. My intention was to buy a well used litre bike to do some track days next summer. I came across an AD where the seller needed to sell the bike ASAP and the best offer takes it. I provided an offer $1500 below his asking price and it was accepted. I now have a 2000 RC51 with 12,500KM in mint shape but I don't want to track it....it is in too nice a condition to take a chance on the track.

I'm amazed at the number of know-it-alls in this forum. Well, like my Mom always said, no sense getting into a battle of wits with an unarmed person. I'll remain silent on this one.
