Go to honda and get a new drain plug. problem solved. proper screws for the fairings, honda dealer, or just go get some metric screws from fastenal.

Re: What Helmet Brand do you prefer or favour and why? don't prefer any helmet or care what helmet. I've got a full face one that is Vega or some no name manufacturer for $50 and sometimes I wear the old 3/4 moped helmet. I'll keep wearing both of them forever.

Let's face it, we are riding aerodynamic equivalents of a brick, with or without the fairing. It makes a difference in comfort at highway speeds and above and reduces the strain on long rides. The dainese would be my choice. You may want to add the Daytona to the list The SIDI's are JUNK. That plastic disintegrates on impact.

As you can see I needed to take the bottom fairing off and mod it so the bike would balance. It took some time & effort but she's on there very solid. I bought this used for $50.

Re: Fast ? i took it this season, phase 1 and 2 back to back. its a pretty good school imo. it is a lot of cake for the back to back phase 1 and 2, add in the insurance hotel room etc, but made me a way better rider, from what i was when i started in june.

Re: What Helmet Brand do you prefer or favour and why? I've gone out with the intent of spending the big bucks. I've tried on all the Arai's, Shoei's and Suomy's there were. And every time I 've come home with an HJC. It just fits my head the best and you can't argue with that.
