So today I was comming home from Uni and, near my place (Bovaird and Airport) there was this left turning lane. So I was peacefully minding my own buisness while our side was a redlight and some friggen ref comes up behind me (since no one was behind me, only 4-5 cars infront) and effin smokes me from behind! like WTF!!!!!!!! Are you blind or something, what a piece of cap! It's like, the ...

Does anyone know of free all day parking spots for a bike anywhere near Harbourfront? Or at least cheap all day parking in that area? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

While making an offer on a brand new bike, I was quesioning the warranty / service. I was told: "the bike needs to be brought in for it's 1st service, around 1,000kms, at a cost of ~ $135.00" "After that, if you know how to do an oil change, save the receipts for oil and filters, in case of a warranty issue" Fine - reluctantly I bought the new bike, since 'someone' was only going to touch my...

For a while I've been ever so careful about cars tailgating me while out riding. With many more aggressive drivers on the road plus a lot of inexperienced drivers and those that really don't give a s**t about motorcycle riders, there have been several times cars have been riding my tail within very close distances. My approach is to really slow down, which gets them pissed, and then they ...

I was just recently watching "Full Metal Jacket" (an all time great movie) and there's a scene in it where the Marines are reciting a rifle prayer and I thought to myself is there something similar out there for motorcycles? If not, I think it would be a cool idea to have one... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2G551KpNnA0 Click on the link above if you don't recall or don't know what I'...

http://ottawa.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehic...QAdIdZ80062 836 I emailed the guy and this is what he said... He is the original owner, and bought it in 2002. Was "dropped" 3 years ago, and had minor scratches and had to have a turn signal replaced. There are still some minor scratches if you look closely. No mechanical problems, and has 7100km clicks (I assume thats km). It's not being sold ...

It is definitely worth importing a bike from the US right now. I just imported BMW R1200 CLC. I saved at least 5K

As promised, it's that time of the year again Last year we were able to round up a group purchase for the all new 2008 Kawasaki Ninja 250R, and we had great success! At least 10 people on GTAMotorcycle took part in it and we were able to get an insanely great price of 4400 OUT THE DOOR, this means all taxes paid, frieght, PDI, tire tax, all that good stuff are paid. With the only exception ...

I went with some of my car friends to watch them run at TMP and decided to do a few runs to see what the bike could do. The times were pretty crappy: 2.0 60 ft and 11.2 ET. What's embarassing is that I have gotten faster launches on my car and my old 96 zx-6r (1.7 60 ft)!!! I just didnt have the guts to rev it up to 8K rpm and pin the gas at wot off the line hehehe. so I just did a street...

I rode my buddy's zx-10r last night and was kind of surprised at how comfortable the bike was. I've ridden a cbr600rr and a 2007 zx-6r and the zx-10r felt alot like the 6r. The power delivery was very similar to the zx-6r in how it took some revs to get the engine spinning. I was surprised at how predictable the power delivery was and how it wasn't as intimidating as I thought it would be. ...

http://www.gtamotorcycle.com/vbforum...ad.php?t=72 292 I am hoping you have seen the above thread. I am deeply saddened to see a fellow member go down and now may not walk again. What is sadder is the response from the clan on GTAM. I saw more of a response when someone posted to help someone so they would not have to sell their bike. I do not know Daves situation, but the ...

Hey all. Thanks in advance. I presently ride a 2001 YZF600r. Great first bike. But after 5000kms and a full season I know its not for me and I dont enjoy riding it. All in All. Its gone. I havent put it up for sale yet but I willl in spring. I know I dont want a 600ss or even a litre bike. I do more long trips to muskoka and the YZF600r left me cramped and drove me nuts buzzing...

So I went to the Honda.ca website looking for the MSRP for the ABS feature (2009 CBR600rr). And it is NOT listed. The '09 CBR 1000 ABS is already there, in the list of models, so I assume that Canada will only get ABS in the liter bike and not for the 600. Prices are... 2008 CBR 600rr: $12,500 20 09 CBR 600rr: $12,500 20 09 CBR 600rr with ABS: N/A (it's not in the website) ...

I was just wondering how many members owned SV1000's. It's not that popular a bike. I have two. One for street and one for track. There's a good forum youi should look at if you haven't already. http://www.sv-portal.com/ A lot of good info there for the 650 as well. That site is not as local as this one mind you, but the people there will also help out if you have a problem with your SV. ...

"In Case of Emergency" contact numbers. I received this email and I think it is a brilliant idea, so I thought I'd pass it along. As riders, we all know the risks involved every time we go out for a ride. Please pass this info along to everyone you know, it could really make a difference. Thanks ICE - 'In Case of Emergency' > > We all carry our mobile phones with names & ...
