For those of you that really give a fig and live in the UK, why not sign up to this petition to stop the University of East Anglia from partaking for the moment. The facts speak for themselves - they have tried to rewrite history to make it fit with their model - and been found wanting. Petition to: suspend the Climate Research Unit at the University of East Anglia from preparation of any Government Climate Statistics until the various...

Oh, usual places I guess - India, Pakistan, Estonia, Latvia, Uruguay, Chile, Madagascar, Iraq, Iran etc etc. However, I will not have anything said about the wondeful people from the Phillipines without whom our nursing service would collapse. They are a genuinely caring people who give back to us a lot more than they take out..

What do you think the actual number of people there are that are uninsured because of a lack of funds to purchase insurance and are not eligible for current state or federal plans? The 46 million number is padded with people that are eligible for state or federal plans but don't apply for unknown reasons, young people that are healthy and betting that they are going to stay healthy and choose to spend that money on other things, and...

That depends, Is Kibble a cat or is it a dog? If it's a cat then probably only if desperate, the insides of a cat pong too much (even for a drop bear), but a dog - no problem. A little known fact is that the drop bear is responsible for the name "Dingo". It used to be called a "Ding" but the question "where the hell did my Ding go?" became so common in country areas that the name became corrupted. As for...

I think that is where some of the disconnect is. This is not a true "government run" system. It is a system where the government: 1. Provides regulations that mandate minimum levels of coverage; and 2. Creates a public option via a government financed risk pool. Other than that, which I agree is far more complicated than two bullet points, not much changes (other than my taxes!). It's the cost component that scares me the most,...

Coolest Race Car Transporters

Good question. I remember back in the 60's there were a bunch of really cool race transporters. It seemed like the transporters were just as popular as the race cars themselves.

I've seen that before, but one or the other was doctored up in that the one I saw years ago was "faster" with different timing on the squeeling tires. In this digital world there is not telling what one is looking at anymore. Still, it works better than a cup of coffee as I get motivated this morning. Think I'll look at the old Shell Ferrari commercial to finish this donut off.

Our health care is by no means perfect but I would rather, by far, pay into a system like we have in Canada. We don't enter or leave a hospital with a broken leg or other with a bill attached to the I.V unit. As for specialized care, many Canadian provinces wait times are getting longer but to qualify all Canadian special care institutes a joke is off base. People from all over the world come ...

Brilliant! I can use it to play my favourite driving simulator during those boring trips! I wonder if it'll take a force feedback wheel and pedal set? Think of the possibilities - Just put the plane on auto, start up the laptop and get flying! Google's flight sim' is pretty accurate they tell me. Tim.

I cannot imagine anything worse than someone opening fire in these circumstances within a ...
