On the I8000 you have the WinMo6.1 witch you can upgarde the WinMo6.5 witch works really great, you also have a bigger screen on the I8000 (3.7 inches vs 3.1 for S8000). For my opinion the I8000 is the better than the S8000, because of the WinMo6.5 upgrade and the HSDPA is faster.

It's basicly a Symbian vs WinMo war, multimedia vs business.

You should have asked that the moment you have bought the phone. Some specifications are strictly market-dependant, so it's perfectly possible that the version released in India don't have gps. I know it sucks, but it's the truth. However, if the sales assistant said to you that the model have gps, you can complain at the headquarters of the company, saying you'be been poorly informed. ...

i think you can not do that, i work in a mobile store and we sold them easely, so i tested it, and i couldn't find it, with my samsung star i now have, i can't do it either,and i don't know about any samsung (bar type) where you can display the time when in sleep mode. davy

Did you alrieady tried to do an update? On the HTCs you go the settings and then you can updated I think it should be the same procedure for the I7500.
