A word of caution.... this software is designed primarily for the professional GIS crowd and not really as a consumer mapping product. (In other words, very steep learning curve.) However there are a handful of DeLorme PN-40 owners who use it to create sophisticated custom maps. (They have a separate, simpler Topo app that comes with the PN devices.) I'm looking for the best bluetooth setup for navigation (including software) +-200$ for Bluetooth GPS and +- 200.00$ software. I want to use it for helicoter recces, for I need a fast update 5hz and a navi program that can keep up , preferably faster than 1 per second... any ideas.. Cheers...

I'm a little bit confused about your company-- or its relationship with other companies. The "3.5 inch Touch Screen GPS Navigation + Black" appears to have a screenshot from a TomTom on it. The "GPS Key Chain unit" is identical to the USGlobalSat TR-101.

I have had the Nextar 03-08 since last year. I have not had that problem. I think that it is the best gps out there. We have taken it on trips to Kanas City and New Orleans and it has been flawless. If you have been to New Orleans with their oneway streets and constant u turns you have to make, you will find out quickly how good your gbs works. I have never had your problem but if you called ...
