Nebraska puts age cap on safe...
Published (2008-11-22 12:27:00)
Many states have safe haven laws but all have an age limit. The reason for that is that parents are absolved of all responsibility for the child, financial and otherwise, under safe haven. The taxpayers of Nebraska are going to go broke if they allow the nation to dump their unwanted children up to age 18 and be absolved of all financial responsibility. The Nebraska version of this law had to have been written by a feeling liberal who forgot...

Frankly, I can see a correlation between this tragedy and what is happening with using corn as fuel. I think that this ethanol thing is just the start of what happened in the Ukraine.

I came back to this thread to see if any more posts and if anyone had answered my question. I guess the topic has been exhausted in the minds of other contributors. Probably best, anyway.

And, I thought living on a farm was clean.... I'm only going to drink from the still out behind the barn, and don't you tell those Revenuer guys....we have a real operation out there.

Ten million Ukrainians. The Nazi Holocaust killed six million Jews and others. Amazing. Horrifying. And this hits home, doesn't it? Quote: 3) Ukraine was the breadbasket of Europe, but the Ukrainian peasantry was refusing to embrace collectivization. Collectivism. Sound familiar?

I think you know the answers to your questions about your well and the cow, Cheesecake. Quote: I'm only going to drink from the still out behind the barn. Good idea. Distilling will kill any bugs in the water you use in your mash and the alcohol will take care of any that sneak in later. Can't be too careful. And if all that doesn't do the job, you won't care anyway.

One News Now Nebraska lawmakers have revised the state's safe-haven law, and the governor plans to sign it.
