Well said. All I have painted are relatively small bezels and trim pieces but plan to start on exteriors soon so your advice is well taken. No room for error on the outside of the truck so hope all comes out nice, worst case scenario is I don't do well and take it to my buddy's shop. LOL..

What did they say when you called them? I always get an answer. And pearl is white and if you actually did call them they would send you a sample of pearl to see to make your choice.

i dont know if there is a factory switch but i just installed denali mirrors today on my 2000 sierra. it has power, signal, puddle, defrost (heat) and power folding. i think its suppose to come on when you select the window defrost. thats how it works on my lexus. i could be wrong tho. wiring was a biatch since my truck didnt come with any of those options except power. i just wired ...

alot of people use dye. thats what i used on mine. a while bac a rattle canned a dash on a ford beater and the whole cabb reaked like paint.
