What Should I Do

They never had me sign that paper that release them from liability. I do intend on rasing as much trouble for them as I can. I mean yes it is a 1998 and its got 200k on it but I should not have to live with a dent that happened while in their control. They called the sheriff to file a report not me. The trouble is the vechile they worked on and parked next to mine did not hit as they said happened. They figured it was the owner of the truck...

QUOTE (grampadirt @ Nov 17 2008, 09:18 PM) I didn't know squat about GM's 4x4 systems before joining this site. Thanks to these guys I had my front diff. and axle working again....the actuator which engages the front diff. had taken a crap.I replaced it with a new one from GM(upgraded version) and BINGO! 4 wheel drive again....check your repair manual(you do have one don't you?) it will show you how to...

QUOTE (bronco2454 @ Nov 15 2008, 02:20 PM) I dropped my truck off at the dealer last night dent free. I picked it up this morning and it had a big dent in it. I did not even enter the truck or move it until the sheriff came and looked at it. The dealer is claiming anther customer hit it. I do not understand how this would not be on the dealer to cover with their insurance. To make matters worse the customer they are claiming...

Thanks Gary, that is close, but it looks like your TV cable is up top, as where mine routes out the bottom... Is that an early 70's Buick??? --Mike This post has been edited by Mike G : Today, 03:51 PM

Sorry to bring this back up, but I'm relieved. We finally got all the tests back for my wife, and thank you Jesus, she is cancer free. I guess there are among us. Thanks again for all the prayers. I apologize again for this not being in the off-topic. This post has been edited by pennzoil29 : Today, 07:01 AM

QUOTE (bronco2454 @ Nov 16 2008, 10:55 AM) Yeah it was fishy because they did work on this blue dakota that they said it hit me and they did not even do a ro for it. They had to call anther repair shop that reffered the guy to them to get his name and such. Also they did not have me sign the paper saying I release them from liability to damage to the truck. They have a body shop on site I am hoping they will see the error in...

A buddy of mine was doing a little trouble-shooting on my old 92 5.7L TBI and I was not present, unfortunately, I think he may have routed the throttle and cruise cables backwards. The TV cable looks good as it is at the bottom. Does anyone have/know of where I can find a picture of this comparable set up. Thanks gang, --Mike

I use this truck to plow snow and when I went to use it for the first time this year the 4x4 won't engage. I don't have a wiring diagram and don't even know which fuse to check?? I've read the posts about the ball switch, which I will follow but I really should check the fuse first. Any suggestions? Thanks

That sounds like an awesome truck. My dad had a 1994 3500 dually 454 which I believe is about the same engine. He put a Banks PowerPack on it which consisted of a larger high flow air filter, long tube headers, and a 3.5" cat-back exhaust. It gave him a good boost in power (around 75 claimed by Banks) and mileage which about 12 mpg all the time. That kit is not sold anymore but I am sure that if...

got the new beast home tonight after an almost 3 hour ride. pretty comfortable ride all in all, but clearly there are a few issues to deal with. stopped off at the local autozone and picked up a set of ac delco plugs (CR43TS), but all the plug wires are out currently of the looms and I'm wondering if anybody has a photo of how they are supposed to be routed? 2nd prob is sluggish ...

Well the old truck spun a rod bearing last week and I am getting that fixed soon, but, I may want to add to the inventory. I am looking at 96-99 2500 Burb with the 7.4L. I want to go with a Vortec and I need to be able to tow more than the lightweight 5.3L in the Avy. The air is a little thin up here and the 20ft boat I have gives the Avy a workout just in the low areas. Could I get ...
