I'll try and take a stab at this but as far as I know, the output of both
injection pump designs are very similar and close to one other. The pumping
plungers of the speed advance pencil pump are smaller in diameter at .25
size but the total stroke is longer whereas the mechanical light load
advance plungers in the poppet pump are larger in diameter in a .29 size
but the total stroke is shorter. So ...

Depends on the model of the vehicle. I know that 95 G vans use a mechanical DB pump. C/K vehicles of that year (also known as R/V) should be electronic.
One easy way to verify is to look at the top of the accelerator pedal inside the vehicle. If it is fitted with a plastic cable that connects to the driver's side of the pump, it is a DB type. If it has a
black plastic assembly with wires ...

To have cruise control, I don't think there is any need to change the whole column. If the car doesn't have CC depending on how the signal lever is attached, it should just ba a matter of unscrewing the
turn signal lever and screwing the lever with the CC button on and then fishing the thin wire through the existing column. After that all of the donor's cruise equipment will need to be swapped in...

The tranny has to be for a 4WD. The output shaft is shorter and the case
has extra
reinforcement on the automatic models. Not necessarily a Chrysler
transmission, but from a company that built manual gear boxes for all three
automakers. I think they might have changed their name later on to New
Venture, but I'm not positive about this. I'd leave the manual in it if it
were me. It's a bolt in, no ...

I had a lifter break once that caused a thumping sound in the intake. It wasn't as noticeable while driving.
I had to pull the valve covers off and was able to reach down with a
telescoping magnet and pull it out without removing the heads.

I kept the intake muffler(black thing that was in the mount) as without it I tend to get an annoying intake drone when running on the interstate. I used the very stiff alumn dryer pipe thats flexable, but stiff, ie not the alumn foil looking stuff. it has held up for 2 years now without any issue, I wraped part of it with
electrical tape as my truck has side post battery terminals and it comes ...
