They will get a code and then they can know what circuits the computer is seeing problems with. It is up to the tech to diagnose the circuit and find the fault.

you probably have it all figured out by now but as far as the "having to stomp them all the way down thing" goes it sounds like they just need to be adjusted. put it in reverse and hit the brakes a couple times to re-adjust them and you wont have to push em as far down

Well, I went to Harbor Freight yesterday and purchased a heater that will plug into the 12V power supply in my truck, to work until I am able to save enough money to take the truck into the local Chevrolet house and have them look it over to fix it. See Link : http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=96144 I figure that this will work, because I like South of Houston and I mainly use the heater to clear the dew and moisture from the...

Moisture on the inside windows sounds pretty normal though. I was getting that pretty bad in my Forester last night

First of all, it's brakes. Secondly, the vibration could be a couple of things. It could be your tires as well as the brakes. Have it checked out by a reputable brake specialist and see what they say. Lastly, the noise you hear is normal for the truck. Just something they all do.

Are these the OEM wheels and tires? Has anyone broken down the tires for any reason? Did all 4 start to act up at the same time? How long was it after a tire rotation that you started having the problem?

That seems odd. My HHR with the 2.4L Ecotec (same engine as the Cobalt) takes about 4.5L of oil. Whenever I have my oil changed and supply a 4 litre and 1 litre bottle the small bottle always comes back around half full. I would assume the 2.2L Ecotec (also found in Cobalts and HHRs) has similar or slightly lower oil capacity.

Never heard of this happening before. Did you bring it to the dealership yet? I would not drive it until they get it figured out! When they fix it, let us know what the problem was. Sorry that this problem has brought you to GMI, but welcome anyways. Put some pics of your truck up whenever you get the chance.

Windshield Wiper Problem I've been having a problem with the wiper blades on my 1995 Oldsmobile Delta 88 LS. I haven't had any luck adjusting the wiper blades so I was wondering if anyone can provide me with some input???...

Can anyone tell me if the 2010 Equinox LS is wired for remote start? The dealer said the base models on most GM trucks/SUV's aren't and they wouldn't put it in unless it is.

It's kind of like a damn if you do - damn if you don't - kind of thing. I think these 3.08:1 gear ratios from the '10 5.3L Silvy's is going to bite some customers in the rear. If you're going to haul a boat or a camper - I'd say go for the 3.73 or 3.42...regardless of the 4 speed transmission vs. the newer 6 speed transmissions - from the '09's still in stock. In your case, I'll leave it to ...

This may sound silly, but check the battery cable connections to make sure they're tight and not corroded. I've seen strange electrical things happen on my Grand AM if the battery connections are not good. Also check for any loose ground wires.

Good. Glad it was an easy fix. If you have a 3.8 with these symptoms, 9 of 10 times it is secondary ignition. Coil packs fry or get rust on the prongs, wires develop excessvie resistance, or plugs foul or short out. There is also a ignition module under the coils that controls the packs. If a Park Ave, LeSabre, Regal or GP comes in with stutters up hills or on light accel, you can almost bet...
