If not then how the hell do they expect to receive any kind of response to their request for investment proposals...you have very little energy and what you have is running out...what kind of half cocked country is it they are attempting to run... They have a legal, honest, straightforward proposal for a open pit mine with associated power plant designed to produce 1000Mw with the ability to increase this to 2000Mw...it has been on the table...

GCM Resources (AIM: GCM) – Polo 29.83% holding GCM’s primary asset is the Phulburi coal project in Bangladesh. GCM completed a feasibility study for the project in 2005 and is now awaiting approval and funding. However, Bangladesh has no national coal policy and needs to finalise one before coal can be extracted from this or any of the other four coal fields which contain around 2.55b tonnes of reserves in total including the...

This broker's report is fundamentally wrong in one crucial respect. Coal is already being extracted from Barapukuria - regardless of the so-called Coal Policy, which of course has just been a convenient cover-up for doing nothing ove Phulbari. As for would-be investors being put off by the GoB's willful failure to honour one of its contracts, I wouldn't hold your breath. There are always plenty more fools out there ready to be...

Multiple 5k trades are due to NMS for GCM being 5k. You'll frequently see buy & sell orders being set at that level accordingly. Whether marked as a buy or sell, the total number of shares bought equals the number of shares sold every day - the trades info only shows you one side of a double entry system. You will even see inconsistent application as to what label they stick on a trade when buy or sell orders are quirky enough to...

Sometimes you can only do AT trades in chunks of 5000, judging by the times they were all one seller just trying to do a lage trade, 143,000 went through a broker the rest were broken down into 5k chunks (100,000) P

It looks like somebody has halted the drop with a 50k buy (I hope). I'm either a fool or a genius because I bought some more at 73.5p. Upwards from here please. Gp

Carbon Capture

Carbon capture technology made the news in Reporting Scotland tonight. Was wondering if a similar implementation in Bangladesh could be key to Hasina's decision on coal policy. Anyone have any info on this?

phone the embassy. i bet any road show they do will be a shambles with no serious investor interest. i mean the track record of investing in the sector (gcm, vulcan, mittal) is abysmal.

All very logical Misak, but it just won't work out that way. In Bangladesh, just when you think all the pieces are going to fall into place, it all goes to pieces. Watch this space.
