I appreciate the suggestion, but given I just do this as a hobby, and make close to zero dollars out of it, I tend to only work on things I want to work on. First, thanks for asking. You've done very well on your own without opening this up to the millions of opinions you're likely to be bombarded with. I'll probably think of other things but one thing I like about some other programs, like Windows MC is being able to right click on a program in the guide and having the choices to set season record, search, program details etc. Of course to go...

It already does Subtitles + DXVA, namely .SRT subtitles, Teletext subtitles, and DVB Subtitles. I'm guessing you want some other type of subtitles?

This seems easy enough to scrape. If Dave72 confirms that this matches the Sirius Canadian feed I will do this. I should be able to test on CBC3 which has a web stream without an account. Martin

It basically comes down to Hauppauge being developer friendly, and proactively supplying me sample devices, and answering questions if I need help. This means I have good knowledge of their products, and GB-PVR supports even their newest cards. Other companies like Avermedia do not supply cards, and I have no contact with them, so I know very little about their devices (and I've never tested any ...

I have seen a lot of problems of systens not going in to standby/hibernation when they should. I also have seen problems with systems not waking up when they should. I don't recall systems going in to standby/hibern when they shoud not. I think you only can find out by trying. Hans
