I havent tried it under win 7 - I will give it a go and let you know. Are you running 64bit or 32bit os?

You can try this option
-ffourcc DIVX
to set the type of AVI header so PSP may recognize.
You may have to replace DIVX with the
4 letter word that the PSP requires.

I was waiting for people to report performance issues before trying to optimize folder browsing. The problem is twofold: it does a database lookup every time a new video file is made visible and, on top of that, certain actions (plus every several minutes) cause the entire folder to be reloaded and the db cache cleared.
I have some ideas. That said, I'm not sure why it's
taking five ...

Looks like you've got two versions running. Version 8 of the MusicLIbrary2/3.dll and
Version 7.2 of the MusicLibrarycommon.dll.
You'll probably find that you have to move all of the ML2 (the older version) stuff right out of the way of the plugins path.
