horn wont stop honking...
Published (2009-12-22 12:46:00)
Haha, this is hilarious. Reminds me of my GTI days way back in high school... I would get called into the office at least three days a week around 1:00PM because my horn would be honking at the maintenance people... Huge PITA. I just disconnected my horn all together.

Fuel Gauge - showing empty but...
Published (2009-12-22 23:06:00)
I've been having an issue lately with my 2004 G35 SC gas gauge. Seems it reads gas unreliably, often telling me there is less gas then there actually is in the car. The dealer says the cluster is not ohming (?) correctly and that I need a new cluster (all the gauges on the dashboard). I'm not believing that. I think there's a simpler explanation... any ideas...? I've seen something on this thread about dirty sending...

04 Center console issue
Published (2009-12-23 19:07:00)
My 2004 Coupe has an issue with the center console. All the lights are working except for the radio display. None of the buttons are functioning either to do with the radio or the heating and air controls. The buttons on the steering wheel for the radio are not making a difference either. The radio was replaced by the dealer less than a year ago, so i doubt that is the issue... Any ideas????

I run +17 front +18 back on 19" 9.5 and 10.5 -- it is pretty aggressive... you can definitely get more aggressive, but i never wanted to, I think this is a good stance. Old picture: prior to an alignment:

I'm running offsets below +10 on my wheels but it all depends on the look you are trying to achieve. If you are going for aggressiveness than anything below +15 is the place to start. Normally offsets between +18 and +25 are the standard.

Published (2009-12-28 21:56:00)
I left/lost my keys on a trip out of town a few days ago. Now that I'm back home I do have a spare key and a valet key but my car's alarm is still activated. Anybody have any idea on what a new remote would run me from infnitit? Im guessing I'll have to call infiniti tomorrow but im wondering how that would even work, would i need a new alarm altogether? Would my vehicle need to be towed to the closest dealership for this to be...

if you have an i-key, you can get one off ebay for $50 and have it programmed at the dealership for $100. if you have a standard fob, you can pick one up off of ebay fro $15 and program it yourself.

I know some members have widened the OEM 19 inch Rays and am wondering if it's possible to widen a cast wheel such as the OEM 17 coupe wheels or other wheels. Is it possible to change the offset as well? How much did it run you, those who have done so already on the 19s, and did it have any bad effects on the strength of the wheel? Thanks!...

Never used dry gas myself but haven't heard good things about it... it may have screwed your sensor.

I drove my car through a deep puddle of rain this morning. When I got home and parked my car, turned the engine off, my horn started to honked on itself a couple of times, and then it just went crazy on itself. I did unlock/lock from my controller and it still won't shut off. I just disconnected my batter, both positive and negative. When I connected the battery, after...

I bought an 07 coupe this summer and since the day i bought it, I cannot get the tire pressure monitoring system indicator light to stop blinking. I read the manual and it says that if the light stays on, try adding air to your tires (which ive tried several times) but it just wont turn off. Has anyone had this problem? Im thinking about unplugging my battery which ...
