i think the weight gains of today have a lot more to do with lack of excercise than fatty, unhealthy foods. Don't get me wrong, there are certainly more fatty foods around than ever, but the idea that somehow we ate healthier in yesteryear seems as absurd as the idea that fruits and vegitables were healthier back then too.
