I want to upgrade my RAM and have learned that my Presario SR1620NX desktop has 4 memory slots. Two are currently in use with 256MB, DDR SDRAM, PC3200 DIMM 184 pin in each slot. I have read that on my pc memory can be installed one module at a time, but the best performance comes from using matched pairs of modules. What is not clear is whether this means that all 4 slots should be the ...

got an e mail today saying my internet access was being suspended for downloading music files, (which I don't do) there was a link to show what I have downloaded, a 50kb zip file. I thought the better of it and deleted the e, mail. I am very careful, but if I did download music, I might have been worried enough to have checked the file. surely I would have had a warning first before a ...

Hello, Running XP. Four year old Dell. For the past few weeks or so, whenever I click on some shortcut icons (seems to vary) on my desktop to either go to a program, or to open a Folder on the desktop, sometimes it works, and other times it takes many, many clicks and tries to get it to "grab". Any thoughts on what might be wrong ? Thanks, B.

I have a folder open called C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\MAGIX\Movie_Edit_Pro_14_PLUS\VideoEffects\Col lage (and that is shown in the Address box) But all that shows in the title is C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\MAGIX\Movie_Edit_Pro_14_PLUS\VideoEffects which is 99 characters. Is this some limit I wasn't aware of until now? -- Terry...
