Do you suffer from Panic Attacks?
Published (2009-12-08 02:05:00)
I have anxiety/panic attacks as well. I am on medication currently that usually does a great job of helping me get through them. Though before the Doctor found anything to help me, life was really rough. I had a hard time holding down a job, I refused to go outside because I would have to interact with people, I gave up my license because I was in fear of driving...

Do you suffer from Panic Attacks?
Published (2009-12-08 10:19:00)
I have suffered from panic attacks for over 30 years. Sometimes they would be a few here and there. For years I would not go to the movies, hated going over bridges, the grocery store ect. I had them the worse in 2008 most of the year was the most horrible time of my life with panic attacks. I had a few health concerns that I think started the chain that time. Then with the elections and the econonmy tanking it put me over the edge. It became...

I have panic attacks for atleast eight years now. I find when I am tired I get them. So I make sure that I get atleast 7-8 hours of sleep every night. If I don't get enough sleep during the night I will take a nap throughout the day. Just one night before bed it hit me like a ton of bricks and my life had changed. There is alot of great forums in the health section that will help you out.

Hi Constance. I should be done with the OT tonight. I will start the NT tomorrow night. I seem to read through the NT much faster. I sometimes have to make myself stop reading. I hope some of the other girls will post and haven't given up. Looks like you and I are the only ones still reading. Cat

yep. i am 41. 5'3-1/2 and weigh in at 148lbs! wear a 10 - 12. but, i do buy GOOD pants and clothing (most of the time...and, on sale!!!) and it helps. i also tailor just about all bottoms i buy. take out front pockets and have them sewn shut, waist and butt taken in as i need the pants to fit in the hips and thighs. i also have to have jacket sleeves shortened quite a bit! but, all in all, i am quite curvy. i have tried dieting,...

I've struggled with this for a while. I struggled with my weight since I hit puberty. When I hit my peak weight at that time, I got pregnant with DS. It was a pregnancy full of sick mornings and not being able to eat much of anything. So, instead of trying extra hard to eat very healthy, I just ate whatever my body would let me. So I gained 70 pounds. After DS was born, by some miracle I lost it all and then some. I definitely felt more...

Can I join? I see no one has responded since April, there has to be more of us out there, right? I work full time, school at night, and do contract work occasionally on the weekends. Future DH is almost the same - full time job, school at night, sometimes has to work from home on weekends. We work in two very egotistical industries - I am in engineering (drafter/design) and he is in finance....

I will say that about 90% of the time I feel the way you do. I would say I am about 40lbs overweight, however, I eat VERY healthy. I rarely eat processed foods or junk food. I am fairly active, but I just don't "exercise" enough to drop the pounds. I think I am cute and I figure, if people don't like me because of the way I look instead of liking me for my personality, then they aren't...

It must be extremely difficult for you. I have a friend that is bipolar, he refuses to take medication. The ups and downs are terrible, but he doesn't like what he calls "the boring flat line". Are there any grief counseling groups need you. I live in a small town and we have one here. Check you local paper or call a counsler that could help you find people to share your feelings with. I am...
