I have always been a liberal. Probably since I was picked on a lot in school, that gave me sympathy for others. Also to the original post, socialism is not a dirty word. In its oppressive extreme it is.

I just read the first 5 chapters of Romans this morning. I want to start over in Genesis and just read straight through. I'll try to post my reading every day. I go to regular bible studies but I have a tendency to jump around and then I *hang out* in Psalms and Proverbs a lot. I am going to get on a regular schedule

Not Ranked  :  +0 / -0  0 score      Thanks for reviving this thread, trinaren. I'd'a missed it otherwise. Yes, I am another Canadian liberal hippie. I even found a place where there are more of our kind living, so I'm not considered strange.

Not Ranked  :  +0 / -0  0 score      NaNoWriMo: any other budding authors out there writing in Nov? I did last year's and didn't hit the 50,000 mark (I was woefully under at only 32,000). But it was helpful and very neat. I used it as an opportunity to churn out my own mini-bio. Although that will likely never be published it did help me address a few things....

Paula, I haven't read the Bible in so long. It would be a pleasure to join the kith. Just let me know when you want to start. I still have my Bible from confirmation, but I also have a huge Bible that my uncle gave me. Think I'll use that one. Great idea!! Mahalo!!

Wow. With Autism rates being so high, I am really surprised there are not more Autistic families here. I can never go to a board and not find a big batch. I have 4 kids, 3 on the spectrum, and now know their father is undiagnosed spectrum as well. How is your son doing? My kids were diagnosed about 7+ years ago...feel free to contact me.

I do yoga from time to time. I do the relaxation, stretching, and exercise aspect of yoga not to much into what is considered the more spiritual side of yoga. I took a graduate class for teachers about using yoga in the classroom (and in the workplace). My daughter (8) takes a yoga class at school, in after school activities. She generally falls asleep though, as do many children....
