You would get an email if you were approved or rejected. And if you sign up again, they will count your account as fraud. You can try to email them about it or check their help section.

From what I read about it, most of the OS and your data will actually exist on remote cloud server farms, and the
client-side portion of it will just have the basics to load it all (correct me if I'm wrong).
Anyway, I don't really like this concept, so I will not be using it.

What version of windows are you trying to install? the gfx card shouldn't be a problem here, because your processor/main memory will pick up graphics (but not very well) if the gfx card isn't detected/working right.

filename.doc files are the standard MS
Word File until word 2007, so you should be able to open them unless they got corrupted by something.
