Not a bad idea, but I would prefer to see new stories, for the simple reason that I have seen those stories told before. I like the new ideas of window-dressings, but Trek is ultimately about the character and stories for me. As such, I myself would want to see new stuff in regard to that area. deg

I have to agree with the idea, there are some stories that could have been expanded upon, such as seeing Commodore Decker actually watch as his crew is eaten byt he machine, would have made his reaction a little more understandable. Also there are stories in TOS that look like they were cut short to make time and not fully explored. There were no two parters back then save the Menagerie.

I think too many of you are looking at TOS through these:

Just for a change lets talk about something interesting; Who thinks it would be cool if in future movies they retold some of the bigger stories from TOS's run? I think big screen versions of Doomsday Machine or Balance of Terror would be pretty cool. And they wouldn't have to make the movies exclusively remakes, I think it would be cool if the newly rebooted Bond franchise did the same thing, make original movies but every now and...

take for exemple...ENTERPRISE's raitings were better then any season of BSG..yet they canceled it, because the show was shot in LA, production cost was WAY to high for the show compared to say Stargate or BSG. so it was'nt that the show was that bad, it was mostly poor management. If the show had been shot in Vancouver, it would most likely still be airing today. Same for TNG..show was cancel because the ratio between cost and profit...

Well, I'm really bored, and I've always kinda wondered if I'm the only one who listens to music everytime I model something. Currently I'm listening to Blindside, which I must admit is incredibly unusual for me. I think it just happened to be next on my playlist.

Hey guys, Though there may be a topic in here somewhere throwing this question out, I appologize! I'm looking for some generic tree models in lwo format, HOPEFULLY already textured, as that would be just stellar. Do you know where I can find some? Just one or two basic leafy and needley trees. Sorry for the question, just been working on a simple-ish thing for my Dad's company's training ...

This is something we want to make a yearly event, so every December members can look forward to one of the Premiere assets being released to the general membership. Starting on the first of December, we will release the Reimagined Connie for all to ...

Each post title will have a date so you can easily determine what the latest releases are. Please do not post to this thread to keep it clean and easy to search. I am definitely NOT having a good day. So, seems discussion of the new Star Trek movie isn't allowed here anymore, seeing all threads related to it have been summarily closed. Bob, you're certifiably insane. Making a thread where the only opinion allowed of the new Trek movie is negative, in order to keep the "peace" - and that one got locked down rather quickly. Gee, I wonder why?! Some "administrator" you are - allowing your ...
