Christmas Eve in the Death Star
Published (2009-12-25 07:46:00)
It was Christmas Eve in the Royal Court, and Good King Wenceslas was feeling more than a bit peckish, so he picks up his phone and calls the local Pizza restaurant. "Hell! This is King Wenceslas!" (For he was a modest man.) "Your usual order sire?" "That's right - Deep Pan, Crisp and Even!"

Honestly I would have preferred that. Special effects are there to SERVE the story not to make it, and that entire episode felt to me like it was all one big joke leading up to the 'its the master race' punchline. Avatar gets hammered - Page 5 -...

I'm starting to think I need to skip this one. I know I said its a must-see regardless of the story or the dialogue, but I think I'm changing my mind based on the overall theme of the reviews: that the dialogue and plot are way worse than anyone imagined. No amount of eye-candy is going to override that. On a lighter note: this is hell funny: http://avatarsucks.com/

Back to Earth for me. A post-apocalyptic Earth, in The Book Of Eli. I love that stuff. Warday, The Postman (the book, not the movie) A Canticle for Liebowitz, etc.
