I would be capping packets on network to see what is happening, I have seen broadcast storm cause this type of issue. Maybe a
scanning software installed (malware / trojan)

TFTP tip, here's how to view the TFTP log in real time to watch as phones connect and download firmware:
Log into trixbox Pro SSH as root
Run this command:
tail -f /var/log/tftp.log
(CTRL+C when finished).

Fonality has decided to distribute trixbox with the PBXtra version of Asterisk. It uses XML manager commands.
Maybe
Andrew will explain what all of this means. It perhaps was needed to support Hud3. This would be very good for the general user base, bad for running other applications that require manager support.
